Dudley Drug and Alcohol Training

Tickets strictly first come first served - book soon.

There are Three Types of Course available in Dudley:

  • Tier 1 Open Courses
  • Tier 2 Open Courses
  • Bespoke Courses delivered in house

read on to find out which is right for you...

The open courses are multidisciplinary with a mix of people from different groups.  We ask that no more than five people from an organisation book on any one run of the course so they stay multidisciplinary and you have the opportunity to learn from colleagues in different organisations - however, if you have more than five people needing in training in your team - see below for information on the bespoke training.

The Open Courses all take place at Switch, 1 Castle Street, Dudley, DY1 1LA

The Tier 1 course is a mainly knowledge based course bringing up to date with what is happening with drug and alcohol use in the world and especially in Dudley, it also gives you tips for what you can do to reduce the harm of drugs. You need to have completed one of these in the last two years if you want to sign up to the Tier 2 course, which is designed to give you skills to respond to drug and alcohol use you might come into contact with in the Dudley Borough.  Great news though - you can sign up for Tier 1 and 2 training courses at the same time as long as the Tier 2 course you book on to is after the Tier 1 course. You can find out about the learning outcomes and book on either or both below...
