Are you hearing a message or actively listening to it? And what’s the difference? Here is a brand new course that will decipher through the noise and empower you to listen acutely when working with your client base.
Who Is This Course Designed For?
This course will introduce skills needed when working in a one-to-one client basis and is aimed at those who work in services supporting vulnerable adults. Learners will explore the differences and similarities between counselling and listening skills as well as exploring specific verbal and non-verbal cues. There will be opportunities to practise these at several stages throughout the training and will give learners the opportunity to consider the impact of using effective listening skills.
All patrons will receive a certificate on completion of the course as well as a workbook that you can work through on the day and take home for future reference. Light refreshments and lunch will also be included (all dietary requirements catered for).
