This course is designed in collaboration with DACT Sheffield to provide information and advice on Spice, its effects and how to react when faced with someone potentially at risk. Some of the points covered will include but are not exclusive to:

  1. The effects and mechanism of action for cannabis
  2. Explaining the difference between THC and CBD
  3. How to identify Spice and how it differs from cannabis
  4. Myths and facts about Spice Use in Sheffield
  5. The Law around Spice
  6. Describe how to contact the police
  7. Discussing the physical and mental health risks and harms of SCRA use
  8. How to respond to and SCRA emergency
  9. Harm reduction responses and who should deliver them, how and when
  10. Treatment options and referral routes in Sheffield


Please arrive 15 minutes early on the day of training.
