Welcome to the TIP Taster.

In the following lessons we will introduce you to Trauma Informed Practices and some of the ideas and values that help inform this way of working.

We kick off with a metaphor that describes a strengths-based approach then there’s a very brief outline of trauma and some of its impacts. You’ll move on to cover what we mean by ‘Trauma-Informed Practice’ and the principles or values that underpin TIP.  This is all summed up in a quiz then there’s chance to reflect on your learning by responding to a blog post by one of our trainers. We’d love some feedback on your experience and you’ll get a certificate in exchange!

Begin the course with ‘An Introduction to Trauma Informed Practice’. Once you have finished each section ‘Mark Complete’ before moving on and, of course, feel free to go back and revisit any of the sections once you have completed them.
